After a season packed with standout performances, emotional backstories and star-studded mentorships, Australian Idol 2025 is set to crown its winner in a live Grand Finale airing tonight at 7.30pm on Seven and 7plus.The final three contestants, Gisella Colletti (17, WA), Iilysh Retallick (17, Culcairn, NSW), and Marshall Hamburger (19, QLD), have each carved a unique path through the competition.

This culminated in a blockbuster performance night that featured solo showcases and unforgettable duets with some of the biggest names in Australian music.In Sunday night’s show, Marshall lit up the stage with a powerful rendition of Playing to Win, Gisella delivered a crowd-pleasing take on Whitney Houston’s How Will I Know, and Iilysh brought the energy with a dynamic performance of Boys in Town by the Divinyls.The finalists also shared the spotlight with music royalty:• Iilysh teamed up with Wolfmother’s Andrew Stockdale for a high-octane duet of Joker and the Thief.



• Gisella realised a dream moment performing Heaven Help My Heart with her idol Tina Arena.• Marshall turned up the disco charm alongside GRAMMY-winner Leo Sayer with You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.Adding to the nostalgia, Casey Donovan reunited with fellow Idol alum Ricki-Lee, 21 years after Donovan’s own win, while Idol judge Marcia Hines joined Donovan on stage for a fiery take on Donna Summer’s She Works Hard for the Money.

The winner of Australian Idol 2025 will receive $100,000 in prize money, an exclusive recording contract with Hive Sound Studios, and the prestigious title of Australian Idol, marking a major milestone for Seven’s reboot of the iconic franchise.In what promises to be a highly rated finale, Idol legend Guy Sebastian will also return to the stage for a special performance, and the Top 12 finalists will reunite for one final celebration.“I couldn’t be prouder of the three of you,” said Marcia Hines.
