Tudravu to consult Ministry of i-Taukei Affairs on reigning from council

Newly nominated commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu would consult with the Ministry of i-Taukei Affairs, the Minister, and the Permanent Secretary regarding the appropriate steps to formally resign from the council. “I think it will be only proper that I step down from there, because of the task that is given, that is there with the Commissioner of Police,” Mr Tudravu said. “But I will consult the i-taukei Affairs, the Minister and the Permanent Secretary on what’s their advice in regards to that.

” Mr Tudravu is set to begin his tenure as Commissioner of Police on February 3, 2025.
