The waves travelled across the Indian Ocean at 500 miles per hour, it killed over 227,898 people in over 14 countries including India, Thailand, Indonesia and Srilanka. The earthquake destroyed many communities, displaced millions including infrastructural damage. In the documentary, the audience will witness people’s reactions who witnessed the tragedy and their lives were moved when the earthquake hit their country.

The most shocking part was this deadly natural disaster occured and no warning was given by the authorities, however the government formed the agencies for the rehabilitation and reconstruction for the affected countries.
