THE highest football league in the country – Telekom Super League (TSL) concluded on Sunday with the presentation of wards to the league winners and individual players. The awards presentation ceremony was held at the Solomon Islands Football (SIFF) Futsal Court in East Honiara. SIFF President Donald Marahare congratulated all the participating clubs, their sponsors and managements, the major sponsor of the league, which is Our Telekom, and other people who worked behind the scenes for the success of the TSL Season 2023-2024.

“Today we are gathered here to officially mark the end of the TSL Season 2024 and to recognize the many contributions each one has given back to football in this country,” Marahare said. Marahare also thanked the four victorious teams for the TSL Season 2024. “I now take time to congratulate the four clubs who have won the medal prizes.



I specifically congratulate Laugu FC, Real Kakamora FC, Solomon Warriors FC and Central Coast FC. “I congratulate Central Coast FC for winning and becoming the champions of the TSL Season 2024,” he said. Central Coast FC walked away with SBD$200,000 for their victory.

Solomon Warriors FC received SBD$170,000 as the runner-up team. Real Kakamora received SBD$130,000 as the third-place winner and Laugu FC the fourth-place securer received SBD$100,000. The individual award winners are as follows: Marahare said for the first time in the history of TSL, each of the eight teams received a consolation prize of $10,000 each.

He stressed that the consolation prize amount will be increased in the near future. Marahare added that the license for each of the 12 teams has now ended and for the teams to participate in the next edition, they have to submit their expression of interest again in order to be considered..
