Trump slaps 32% tariff on Fiji

Fiji is amongst a list of new countries to be subjected to a 32% tariff by the United States.It is not known how this tariff will affect Fijian exports into the USA.President Donald Trump has today unveiled global reciprocal tariffs during an event at the White House.

“In many cases, the friend is worse than the foe in terms of trade,” he said.“We subsidize a lot of countries and keep them going and keep them in business.”“Why are we doing this? I mean, at what point do we say you got to work for yourselves.
