The suspects, who were identified as Adamu Abubakar, Mohammed Bello, and Musa Adamu were confirmed to have been arrested on 7 October, 2024 in Andamin village of Karim Lamido local government council. They also announced to have in a separate operation, which took place in Lau local government council of the state, arrested a key terrorists’ logistics supplier working with a notorious terrorist group.

The announcement which was contained in a statement made available to journalists in Jalingo, the state capital in the early hours of Thursday by the Acting spokesperson of the Brigade, Captain Oni Olubodunde, said special operation was launched on 7 October, 2024 in Andamin general area of Karim Lamido LGA, leading to the successful apprehension of some suspected bandits at Jeb, a border community between Taraba and Plateau States. The suspect arrested in Lau, who was identified as Musa Inusa, according to the troops, was believed to be providing essential supplies and other materials to terrorists operating in the area. “His arrest is expected to disrupt the supply chain and further weaken the operational capabilities of the group,” the statement read.



Items recovered from him include a jack knife, sum of N2,460, wraps of substance suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs.
