Trisha Paytas is headed to Broadway! Fresh off of her Saturday Night Live cameo , the 36-year-old YouTuber and podcaster just announced her own Broadway show, but it’s only for one night only. “I’m just about as gagged as could be,” she shared with People , after revealing the news during her Trishmas Live concert on Tuesday (December 9). .. Titled Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream , she will perform at the St James Theatre for one night only on Monday, February 3rd.



If you didn’t know, the St James is currently home to the Sunset Boulevard Broadway revival, starring Nicole Scherzinger . The upcoming production was first conceived as an April Fool’s Day prank earlier this year, where Theatrely jokingly revealed she would star as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. “Obviously I know that’s not real ’cause no one approached me about it, but I was like, ‘What is this? This is so weird,’” Trisha recalled.

“People were so happy for me, and I was like, ‘F—.’ ” “They got a lot of clicks,” she added. “And they were like, ‘I think we’re going to do it.

’ And I was like, ‘What?’ And then we got the date and the theater, and I was like, ‘Wait, this is happening!’” Trisha reveals she is fully preparing for the big show. “I’m going to be in vocal lessons. I’m excited to try and see where I can go,” she dished.

“This is going to be a production. We’re having ensembles, tricks and magic..
