The TV presenter said she was ‘a bit sad’ to leave the ITV reality show.

The TV presenter lost to EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer and Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd, who had also been nominated for the public vote on the ITV reality series. Also during the episode, former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa said the “beautiful non-binary people are who I feel the most like”, as she opened up about her feelings on her gender identity. Goddard left on Tuesday’s episode, and was greeted by cheers of “Trisha, Trisha, Trisha”, which the audience on her former talk show used to chant.

She said she was feeling “a bit sad” when she departed after revealing during the latest instalment that she wanted to stay in the show as it was a “respite” from her cancer diagnosis. The 67-year-old said that on the show she can “just have fun and things like that”, and not have to worry about health. She added: “It’s a bit of a bubble, it’s been my risk, not that I expected it to be.

“I’m completely surprised at that, but it’s been a respite from treatment and slightly more shitty stuff, I have survived worse.” Goddard told Big Brother she was enjoying the “distractions”, and admitted that coming out of the show would make her think about being “terminal, last wishes”, which was “triggering” for her. “Thank you for the opportunity to play and have fun, and I wish that everybody who has a life-limiting illness has some opportunity to just to be goofy and silly and play and be childlike and what have you, and feel a kind of mad freedom,” she added.

Siwa, whose partner is non-binary and has previously come out as a lesbian, told Big Brother this is “a lot” when she entered the diary room with Hughes. The 21-year-old added: “Essentially, you have female, you have male.

I’ve met a lot of females, love them, don’t feel like I’m them; met a lot of males, love them, definitely not them. “(I’ve) met a lot of people in our life that are non-binary, and these beautiful non-binary people are who I feel the most like, and it’s not something that I want to say about myself yet, but it’s something that is confusing, and so that’s probably why we talked about it last night.” Siwa, an American singer and YouTuber, had written on 32-year-old Hughes’ hand: “It makes sense, just think about it.

” She later appeared emotional while speaking to her fellow housemates, and said she had been “scared” as she was “not sure”..
