Mick O’Dwyer, one of Gaelic football’s most successful and iconic managers, has died at the age of 88.1The Waterville native re-wrote the book on the game and his list of honours and achievements are second to none.He enjoyed a remarkable 57-year inter-county career as both a player and a manager; winning four All-Ireland titles as a player before guiding the Kingdom to a remarkable eight triumphs across the glory years of the 1970s and ’80s.
