Tributes paid to model and actress Dayle Haddon, 76, after tragic death from carbon monoxide poisoning

Tributes are being paid to Canadian and actress Dayle Haddon, who has died at the age of 76 from poisoning. Haddon, renowned for her long career promoting L'Oréal and acting in films such as Cyborg and Bullets Over Broadway, passed away on Friday while staying with family at her daughter's home in over Christmas. Her daughter is married to actor Marc Blucas, best known for his role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Australian news outlets reported that Haddon was found in a second-floor bedroom at the scene. Haddon's career spanned decades, and she was celebrated for breaking barriers in modeling and acting, leaving behind a lasting legacy. Detective sergeant Jonathan Koretzky : “Preliminary investigation is showing that a heating unit malfunctioned exposing a large amount of carbon monoxide within the carriage house.



” As well as modelling in Playboy and Vogue, Haddon represented , Estée Lauder, Clairol, and Max Factor. In addition, she wrote Ageless Beauty: A Woman’s Guide to Lifelong Beauty and wellbeing, while her 25 acting credits began with Disney film The World’s Greatest Athlete in 1973. Ryan Haddon, her daughter, paid tribute on social media, writing: “The bright light that is Dayle has dimmed in this Earthly realm.

“Shining somewhere as radiant as ever where it’s most needed, I have no doubt. “She was a woman in her power, yet soft and attentive to all. "Deeply creative and curious, gifted with beauty inside and out.

Always kind and thoughtful. “She held so many people up, saw their greatness sometimes hidden to them, and always built bridges with her own connections to help them ascend. "She was everyone’s greatest champion.

An inspiration to many. “I always trust the timing of things. There are no accidents and certainly how we enter and exit this world is mystical and unknowable.

"She was a high-hearted spiritual being that put value on her soul’s evolution, so I know her journey here in this dimension must have been complete." Haddon was married to Glenn Souham who died in 1986. She is survived by Ryan Haddon and Blucas, who have two children.
