At 3-7 and with a handful of especially bad losses on the docket this season, the Cowboys are a shell of what most thought they would be this season. After all, the team had been 12-5 for each of the past three seasons and was expected to be a Super Bowl contender this year. Other than a solid Week 5 win over Pittsburgh, there's been nothing memorable about this season in Dallas.
The Cowboys have lost four straight, and followed up a 34-6 loss to the Eagles in Week 10 with a 34-10 loss to the Texans in Week 11. The Cowboys now have a less than 1% chance of reaching the playoffs, according to NFL.com calculations.

.. You wanna talk about (negative) quotes.
There’s a lotta quotes, stuff on the sideline." That's when Travis Kelce chimed in with a bit of shade thrown at the collective effort of the Cowboys players: "Doesn’t really look like that’s a motivated football team. I don’t know.
It looks like everybody’s collecting checks over there. You can tell when a team is fighting, and it doesn’t look like too many guys are out there fighting." Even with the acknowledgment that Dallas is a disaster, there was hesitation to put the onus on McCarthy.
The Cowboys are playing without star quarterback Dak Prescott, of course, and team owner Jerry Jones did little to upgrade the roster in the offseason. 'It sucks when you're losing," Travis Kelce said. "It's tough when you don't have your best players playing.
Dak's not playing. It's tough, man." "I think it's more Jerry's fault," Jason Kelce said, pointing to Dallas' personnel problems.
"He's the one who is making all these decisions." Related: Travis Kelce Makes 'Confident' Vow on Chiefs-Bills Playoff Rematch.
