The Chiefs escaped with a 30-24 win in overtime as Kareem Hunt scored the game-winning touchdown. Chiefs fans were concerned when Patrick Mahomes left the field with an injury, although the superstar quarterback was able to return and finish the game.

In overtime, Kelce caught three passes on the game-winning drive, including a four-yard reception that gave the Chiefs the ball inside the Buccaneers' 5-yard line. The Chiefs offense has not been the juggernaut fans are used to seeing. Moreover, this was the first game in which Kansas City scored 30 or more all year long.
