The Colorado Buffaloes finished off their regular season campaign with a dominant 52-0 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and at the center of everything on both sides of the ball was two-way stud Travis Hunter. Hunter starred as both a wide receiver (10 receptions, 116 yards, three touchdowns) and as a cornerback (one tackle, two passes defended, one interception) to help the Buffaloes finish the regular season off strong. And in the process, he also may have taken a step towards winning the 2024 Heisman Trophy.
Hunter has emerged as the frontrunner to win the Heisman with his strong play on both sides of the ball, and this outing may have sealed the deal for him. Immediately after this win, though, rather than basking in the glory, Hunter opted to sign autographs for fans in the stands. As a reward for their support, Hunter took a moment to sign some autographs, and in the process, he likely made several of these fans' days. With this big game in the books, Hunter has racked up 92 catches for 1,152 yards and 15 total touchdowns on offense, and 32 tackles, four interceptions, and 11 passes defended on defense. You won't find any other player in the nation who has managed to produce like Hunter has for the Buffaloes this season.

His closest competition appears to be Boise State Broncos running Ashton Jeanty, but even then, he's not playing on both sides of the ball at a high level like Hunter. That could end up being the difference in this tightly contested race.
While Hunter has his eyes on the Heisman, his main goal will be helping Colorado win in their upcoming bowl games. With a 9-3 record on the year, it's safe to say this has been a successful season for Hunter and the Buffaloes, and they will look to keep their fans entertained now that the regular season is in the books.
