A TRAMPOLINE park has been named a finalist in a Telegraph & Argus competition. The T&A asked readers to nominate the Best Indoor Family Entertainment offering within the Bradford district. Nominations were made through our online voting platform, and they have now been whittled down to the final 10.
Insane Air opened its doors in 2018 with a vision to build more than just a trampoline and inflatable park, but a community. Based at a unit within Beckside Works, Lidget Green, Insane Air’s Farooq Rafiq described being shortlisted as a “real honour". He told the T&A: “We saw a real need for a place where children and families could have fun, be active, and connect—especially in a city where opportunities for safe, accessible indoor activities were limited.
Insane Air is a trampoline park (Image: Newsquest) “Our aim was to create more than just a trampoline and inflatable park—we wanted to build a hub for the community. “Even through the challenges of lockdown and uncertain times, we’ve remained committed to providing fun, safety, and community support. “What makes Insane Air truly special is our focus on accessibility, inclusion, and giving back.
Our SEN (Special Educational Needs) sessions are heavily discounted and carers go free—we believe everyone deserves the chance to play. "We also support community groups, especially those working with children from deprived backgrounds, by offering significantly reduced rates. “Beyond the fun, we've helped build our local economy by creating 20 jobs in one of the most deprived areas in the region.
This nomination isn’t just a reflection of our business—it’s a reflection of the positive impact we've had on our city.” The team at Insane Air (Image: Newsquest) Speaking about how it feels to be nominated, Farooq said: “It’s amazing to be in the top 10. It’s a real honour that shows we’re doing something right when it comes to serving our community.
While awards are fantastic, the greatest recognition always comes from our customers—their loyalty and appreciation mean everything to us. “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We’ve built strong relationships with families, schools, support groups, and organisations across Bradford.
Whether it’s a child’s first bounce, a SEN session that brings joy, or a local group outing—we’re there to make memories happen. “A lot of children even choose to come back to us for their birthday parties year after year, which shows that they think of Insane Air during some of the most special moments in their lives. That kind of connection is something we’re incredibly proud of.
