Traitors star Charlotte Chilton told she couldn't have kids after crushing heartbreak with ex wife

Charlotte Chilton shot to fame on drama-filled and action-packed TV show The Traitors, but the 32-year-old is now enjoying her new, much softer role as first-time mum. The star welcomed her adorable daughter Penelope last month, with ex-boyfriend Conor Maynard, whom she met as his sister Anna was dating her co-star Harry Clark. The adorable youngster, who is pictured with loving mum Charlotte in this week's OK! Magazine, was born after the Traitors star had a short fling with Conor, who she says has now "ghosted" her.

This took place after her marriage to Laura Chilton broke down following seven agonising miscarriages and failed IVF. Charlotte explained in an Instagram post:"After seven miscarriages over my 20s, failed insemination, failed IVF, I was told 'it probably won't happen for you'." She then added: "Yet, someone decided I deserved a wish answering and I am now going to have my own little miracle.



" Laura, her ex wife, was with Charlotte for seven years after meeting online. She confirmed to Mail Online that the pair had tried to have a child together. 'Do you know what we have had some great times together, we had a really cool wedding - Charlotte has been through a lot.

We did go through IVF, we only had one cycle and that was unsuccessful.” Laura also claimed that that the pair were together when Charlotte met pop star Conor. "She was seizing that opportunity.

I had a feeling something had gone on because she decided she would stay an extra day - which was obviously the night she got with this Conor Maynard which I had caught wind of as she mentioned to me he had a crush on her and she wasn't interested - we were still together. But she is making out to everyone that we weren't together at the time - I want to make it clear that we were.” She then added: 'I just think more than anything people need to grow up - stop trying to grab a headline by revealing who the father of her baby is and just take accountability and some responsibility - all jokes aside there is another life coming into this now.

Singer Conor, who is not in touch with Charlotte or the child , has not publicly addressed the news of being a dad, or spoken out about his former relationship with Charlotte. Speaking on Loose Women in July, Charlotte was then asked whether she wants him in her unborn child's life. "This is a tricky question,” she said.

“I'm always torn with what is best for her. With me and my mental health and the damage he's done to me, no. But I'm an adult and I have to put her first.

I would like it for her at some point in her life. I don't think there's much point at this stage, but it has to be Penelope's decision.".
