1 2 Keonjhar: A 32-year-old man was killed when a trailer ran him over in Bankamaruni village under Sadar police station limits on Sunday. According to sources, around 7am, the victim, identified as Rajesh Munda, was trying to chase away cows that had entered his garden when the trailer plying National Highway-20 lost control and rolled down the roadside and rammed into his house and he was crushed to death. The trailer was headed towards Joda from Keonjhar.
In protest, locals blocked the road, bringing traffic on the highway to a standstill. Later, police reached the spot and pacified the protesters, following which, the blockade was withdrawn. Police have seized the trailer.
