Tragedy as man dies following two-vehicle crash on Welsh road

A man has tragically died following a two-vehicle crash. The collision happened on the A48, in Cowbridge, South Wales, just after 5pm on Wednesday, October 16. It involved a red Vauxhall Corsa and a Land Rover Defender.

The 35-year-old man died following the crash and a second man was taken to hospital for his injuries, reports WalesOnline. An appeal for witnesses has been launched by South Wales Police. A spokesman for the force said: "We were called to a serious road traffic collision on the A48 at Cowbridge shortly after 5pm on Wednesday, October 16 which involved a red Vauxhall Corsa and a Land Rover Defender.

We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone with dash cam footage or anyone who witnessed the manner in which either vehicle was being driven prior to the incidents to contact us quoting reference: 2400345160."
