
Trader Joe’s, in coordination with its supplier, is recalling specific lot codes of Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water (750mL) because of potential for cracked or damaged bottles that could pose a safety risk.The issue was identified through research related to bottle breakage during production, with an estimated 1% of bottles in the affected lot codes potentially impacted. Trader Joe’s has advised customers not to use the product and to dispose of it carefully.
The recall affects products sold exclusively at Trader Joe’s stores in 12 states—Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas—between Dec. 27, 2024, and Jan. 28, 2025.
