Tractor owner injures thief, takes him to hospital

Ludhiana: The owner of a building construction material store foiled a miscreant’s attempt to steal his tractor. The accused was trying to drive away with his tractor on Gehlewal road at midnight on Thursday. However, the tractor owner woke up and tried to stop him.

When he did not stop, he fired a gunshot, which injured the accused, identified as Vishal. The tractor owner took him to the civil hospital, where he is being treated. A case has been registered, police said.
