The Camry, first introduced to the Korean market in 2009, has been a global favorite for over 40 years due to its high quality and durability. The 2025 model represents the ninth generation, built on Toyota’s TNGA-K platform with a focus on quality and durability. The new model is available in two grades – XLE and XLE Premium – both manufactured in Japan.

Pricing is set at 48 million won for the XLE grade and 53.6 million won for the XLE Premium grade. The exterior features an “Energetic Beauty” design concept emphasizing modern silhouettes.

It sports a more athletic and sporty appearance with a hammer-head design highlighting its low, wide stance, and racing-inspired air vents on the front corners. Inside, the vehicle showcases premium materials and advanced technology, including dual 12.3-inch displays – a multi-information display and a touchscreen center display – enhancing its high-tech appeal.

The 2025 Camry Hybrid is equipped with Toyota’s latest fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS), combining a 2.5-liter inline-four gasoline engine with an electric motor to produce a total system output of 227 horsepower. The vehicle achieves a combined fuel efficiency of 17.

1 km/l. All trim levels come standard with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), Toyota Connect infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, heated and ventilated front seats, and eight SRS airbags. The XLE Premium grade further improves the luxury experience with additional features including a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, heated rear seats, power-reclining rear seats, and rear control switch.

“The Camry has consistently been synonymous with imported mid-size sedans in Korea,” said Kang Dae-hwan, director of Toyota Korea. “The 2025 Camry Hybrid, with its improved performance and convenience features, will provide a new option for customers seeking eco-friendly hybrid vehicles.” To celebrate the launch, Toyota Korea is offering an “Amazing Switch Residual Value Guarantee Installment Program,” allowing customers to purchase the Camry Hybrid XLE grade with monthly payments starting in the 400,000 won range.

The program guarantees up to 60% of the vehicle’s residual value over 36 months, including a 5% deferred payment exemption when refinancing through Toyota Financial Services Korea for a new vehicle purchase. Kevin Lee ([email protected]).
