The former Wales rugby player is back in the UK and couldn't resist getting involved after an epic win

Louis Rees-Zammit was back at his old stomping ground on Saturday afternoon and threw himself fully into the Gloucester celebrations. The former winger was in the stands at Kingsholm to witness a 13-try epic as his former team beat local rivals Bristol 53-28 with a sensational performance. Rees-Zammit regularly watches Gloucester matches online when in the US pursuing his NFL career, but this was an opportunity for him to get fully involved.

The 24-year-old, who became a hero with Gloucester fans during his spell at the club before dramatically quitting in January last year to change sport, appeared topless in the dressing room following the match. Rees-Zammit led the team's celebrations, singing the team's famous victory song "We are the boys from Gloucester" while banging a plastic kit container with a huge smile on his face. It was a special moment for the Welshman, who was in the company of international team-mates, such as Tomos Williams and Josh Hathaway, who had starred in the win.

Rees-Zammit has been enjoying time in the UK over the past couple of months during the NFL off-season after signing a new deal with Jacksonville Jaguars. He was present at the Wales v Ireland Six Nations match last month and mingled with the players in the dressing room in Cardiff . When he heads back to America he will be fully focussed on trying to make the Jaguars' final 53-man roster.
