Bajaj Finserv led the gains, surging 3.23 per cent to ₹2,005.40, supported by strong institutional buying.

IndusInd Bank followed with a 2.68 per cent rise, closing at ₹673.60.

NTPC saw a 1.88 per cent increase to ₹360.80, driven by fresh investor interest in power sector stocks.

L&T climbed 1.76 per cent to ₹3,503.30, while UltraTech Cement rounded out the top five gainers with a 1.

40 per cent uptick to ₹11,559.45. Tata Motors was the biggest laggard, tumbling 5.
