As the new year approaches, various automakers have started readying their new offerings for buyers. We will witness the launch of several new motorcycles and scooters in 2025 in the Indian market, which will start with the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January.

Throughout the year, the auto brands will introduce new bikes which will include roadster, cruiser, cafe-racer and adventure models. In this piece, we will talk about the upcoming top five adventure motorcycles in India. 1.



Royal Enfield Himalayan 650: Royal Enfield is working on a bigger and more powerful Himalayan which has been internally codenamed as project R2G. The 650cc Himalayan will be based on the Interceptor 650 while equipped with the same trellis frame and 648cc parallel-twin engine. Royal Enfield Himalayan 650 has been spotted multiple times near the brand’s factory in Chennai with a red coloured registration plate.

The spy images confirmed that the Himalayan 650 is in the advanced stages of testing and it could finally break cover by mid of 2025. It could become the highest-priced Royal Enfield in India upon its launch with an estimated starting price of Rs 3.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

2. Hero Xpulse 210: Hero Xpulse 210 finally had its moment of glory at the recently concluded EICMA 2024 in Italy. It is expected to make its first public appearance in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January 2025 in New Delhi.

The Xpulse 210 replaces the air/oil-cooled engine of the ongoing Xpulse 200 with Karizma XMR’s 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It also boasts several premium features in the form of dual-channel ABS, a 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, and LED headlamp & indicators.

KTM 390 Adventure R: KTM India has officially confirmed the India debut of the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R and 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X at the India Bike Week in December in Goa.

Both the variants of the updated KTM 390 Adventure line-up were globally unveiled at the EICMA 2024 in Milan. Just so you know, the Adventure R is meant for off-roading while the Adventure X is a road variant. The latter misses out on many features that come with the range-topping R variant such as bigger wheels, a fully-coloured TFT instrument console, cornering ABS and a fully adjustable suspension setup to name a few.

KTM will announce the pricing of the 2025 390 Adventure in Jan at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo as deliveries will start shortly. 4. Hero Xpulse 421: The Xpulse 421 had its official premiere at the biggest motorcycling event in the world, i.

e. the EICMA 2024 in Italy. Underpinning a new trellis frame, Hero Xpulse 421 adorns a new design philosophy which is quite different from the Xpulse 210.

The styling is pretty much inspired by the Ducati Multistrada while a lot of inputs were taken from Hero’s Dakar Rally riders. The Xpulse 421 will be offered with an all-new 421cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which develops top power around 40-45 bhp. The engine will be linked to a 6-speed transmission along with a slip and assist clutch.

The production-ready model is expected to launch by mid-2025 in India while slotted between the G 310 GS and F 800. The new ADV bike will be packed with a 450cc twin-cylinder petrol engine which will produce power output around 48bhp. Weighing merely 175 kg, the BMW F 450 GS was presented with golden-coloured fully adjustable upside-down (USD) front suspension.

The feature list is modern and up-market too with the inclusion of multi-ride modes, lean-sensitive ABS, and a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. The F 450 GS is a direct rival to Aprilia Tuareg 457.
