The bike-makers are ready too with their new range of products which will be unveiled at the event in Italy. A few Indian heavyweights like Royal Enfield, Bajaj-KTM and Hero MotoCorp will be in attendance at EICMA 2024 and we could get a glimpse of their new motorcycles for the Indian market.
Let’s take a look at the top 4 motorcycles debuting at the auto show between Nov 5 – Nov 10, 2024. 1. Royal Enfield Electric Bike Ever Since the Chennai-based brand announced last year that it would be venturing into the EV space and developing an all-electric motorcycle, the world has been endlessly waiting for the new Royal Enfield EV.
Recently, the production-ready model of the electric bike was spotted during test runs while Royal Enfield released a teaser image on its multiple social media platforms, revealing the overall design and announcing that it will break cover on Nov 4, 2024 – a day ahead of the EICMA 2024. No official details have been made public or leaked as of now regarding the electric motorcycle and we will have to wait for a week at least before we see it in the flesh with lots of new details. 2.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 Royal Enfield is expanding its 650cc motorcycle portfolio with the introduction of the all-new Bear 650 Scrambler. It is scheduled to make its global debut at the EICMA 2024 on Nov 5. Presently, the brand has four 650cc bikes in the form of Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650.
The Bear 650 is based on the Interceptor 650 chassis but it gets an identity of its own due to the different wheel sizes and retuned suspension setup. The Scrambler carries the same 648cc parallel-twin engine but the torque has been increased to 56.5 Nm while power output remains the same at 47bhp.
Also, the seat height is 830mm, the highest for a 650cc Royal Enfield motorcycle. It is expected to launch next month in India at the Motoverse 2024 in Goa. 3.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure KTM will dominate the EICMA 2024 with the global unveiling of five all-new motorcycles, which also include the 2025 390 Adventure. However, ahead of the official launch, the details of the new bike have been leaked online. The leaked document suggests that the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure will be offered in two variants namely R and X.
The former will be more focused towards off-roading while the latter will be more road-biased. Some of the prominent features that we will see on the bikes are digital instrument cluster, traction control and single-channel ABS. The mechanical details are not revealed yet but we expect the motorcycles to carry the same 399cc petrol engine and 6-speed transmission.
4. New Hero XPulse Hero MotoCorp has made it official by teasing the all-new Xpulse that it will indeed debut at the 2024 EICMA in Italy on Nov 7. The teaser video clearly showcases the updated design of the bike, predominantly the revised front end with a new headlamp.
However, as speculated in the media, the biggest update will come in terms of performance as the 2025 Hero Xpulse will be powered by a 210 cc liquid-cooled petrol engine which we have already seen on the Karizma. It will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Reports have indicated that the new Xpulse 210 will be launched in India in early 2025 with an estimated price of around Rs 1.
