Top 10 British sitcoms revealed as one hit show snubbed from list

The Top 10 British sitcom list has officially been ranked and unveiled but one beloved series didn't make the list.

Throughout the years, many sitcoms have graced the British screens, keeping viewers hooked by its recurring cast of characters who find themselves in hilarious situations. From the likes of Only Fools and Horses , Porridge and Fawlty Towers, these shows have acquired masses of lifelong fans who regularly rewatch the sitcoms and own the merchandise to this day. The Top 10 list was compiled by the British public over three months and presented by beloved talk show presenter Jonathan Ross.

However, many will be surprised that 1969 favourite On The Buses didn't make a list despite its 7/10 ranking on IMDb and its hit movie release in 1971. The hilarious sitcom followed Stan Butler (played by Reg Varney) and Jack Harper (Bob Grant) as they worked shifts on Luxton’s number 11 bus but were forced to answer to Inspector Blakey (Stephen Lewis), who was also the bane of their existence.
