GEORGE TOWN: It is still too early to conclude the cause behind the incident involving a police corporal who accidentally shot himself in the head.Penang police chief Datuk Hamzah Ahmad said investigations are ongoing. When asked whether the incident was linked to debt or family issues, he responded:"It is still under investigation.
It is too early for us to draw any conclusions," he said in a brief statement.Hamzah said police had recorded statements of the policeman's ex-wife, who arrived from Kuala Lumpur yesterday. It was reported that the 58-year-old police corporal accidentally shot himself in the head at the state police contingent headquarters here on Tuesday evening.
