Toddler in hospital from quad bike crash with kangaroo on Jensen property, Townsville

A toddler was injured in an incident involving a kangaroo and a quad bike on a Queensland property, sparking a police investigation. The boy was on the bike with a man at the private address in Jensen, near Townsville , about 6.30pm on Tuesday when they crashed into the animal.

The boy suffered lacerations and was taken by paramedics to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition. The man escaped physical injury.
