I wanted to do something festive and holiday-ish for my opening guess because we put up our Christmas tree and decorations, but I was coming up with words like TREES and LIGHT and these just didn’t seem like great options. I guess the word BRAIN popped into my brain at this point and I plugged it in.

Lucky me, the ‘B’ was yellow. That’s a much less common letter so I knew my options were narrowed down considerably. I tried DOUBT to rule out as many vowels as possible, and was even luckier with a green ‘U’.

At this point, the only word I could come up with was PLUMB and sure enough, it was the Wordle! Huzzah! Competitive Wordle Score I get 1 point for guessing in three and another point for beating the Bot, whose four tries just didn’t cut it today. 2 points for me! Double huzzah!
