[+] puzzle. In case you missed Monday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here: November is rushing past, and the days are getting shorter. Darkness falls a little earlier every day, right up until the winter solstice on December 21st, and then slowly the days will grow longer again.
Of course, here in the lower 48 states, the days never get really short. Above the arctic circle, the sun won’t even come out for weeks at a time. That sounds .
. . terrible, but also kind of cool in an otherworldly sort of way.
I can’t imagine actually living in those areas, however. A visit for a few days sounds like quite an experience. In any case, it’s time to solve today’s Mini Crossword, the baby cousin to the NYT Crossword puzzle.

Thank you DONUT! 2 and 3 Down (LAB and VERGE) were also pretty simple, and from here the stuff I didn’t know like 1-Across or wasn’t sure about, like 4 and 6 across, snapped together. I was multitasking again so this took longer than it should have at 2:13.
