TMKOC: Asit Modi Confirms Dayaben's Comeback, Says 'Have Shortlisted Some People'

Asit Kumarr Modi confirmed Dayaben's return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He is shortlisting actors to replace Disha Vakani, who left in 2018. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah maker Asit Kumarr Modi has confirmed that the character of Dayaben will soon be back in the show.

In a recent interview, Asit mentioned that the entire team is working to bring back the iconic character of screens. He also revealed that he has shortlisted a few actors as Disha Vakani’s replacement and is likely to meet them soon. “We will definitely bring back the character of Daya Bhabhi.

This comes days after an insider exclusively told News18 Showsha that Asit Modi, who had been conducting auditions for the character of Dayaben, has finally liked someone. We learnt that an actor, whose identity has not been revealed yet, has been shortlisted for the role of Daya, Tappu Ke Papa’s Gaga.
