President Bola Tinubu has dismissed the Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), Dr. Chioma Ejikeme, just 13 months after her reappointment for a second four-year term. In a statement released on Monday by the Head of the Corporate Communications Unit of PTAD, Olugbenga Ajayi, the President announced the appointment of Tolulope Odunaiya as the new Executive Secretary.
Odunaiya officially took office on November 18, 2024, succeeding Ejikeme, who had served from August 2019 to November 2024. In her inaugural address, Odunaiya expressed her commitment to building on the successes of her predecessors while fostering a collaborative and unified work environment.
She said, “It is with a deep sense of responsibility and purpose that I address you as the new Executive Secretary. I acknowledge the remarkable work of my predecessors and the dedication of everyone who has contributed to our progress.”.
