Time to have your say on proposed 100-home development in Shefford

Catesby Estates is preparing proposals for a development of up to 100 new homes and public open space on land off Stanford Road. Properties would range from one to four-bedroom homes, with 30 per cent affordable housing, new children’s play areas, footpaths, cycling routes and areas for wildlife. "As part of designing a high-quality development we are seeking to capture the vision, values and ideas of the community," reads a consultation document.

"We want to work collaboratively and openly with residents before working up final plans which will be submitted as an outline planning application to Central Bedfordshire Council. "To assist this process, we have prepared a number of plans showing our initial ideas on one way the development could be laid out. This will evolve as the plans progress.
