The Australian fighter has now lost his last two fights, with Tszyu being knocked to the canvas four times during Sunday's clash before his team threw in the towel during the third round. Having missed out on a chance to clinch Murtazaliev's IBF super welterweight title belt, Tszyu was left stunned after the fight, claiming he did know what had happened in the ring.

Questions have mounted over where Tszyu goes next in his career following the devastating defeat, with some even calling for him to retire. But on Monday, the Australian boxer reflected once again on the defeat, claiming he will regroup and be back to fight again. 'Look, it is what it is,' Tszyu said.



'I got caught with a shot and just couldn't move on. 'Kept getting up but that wasn't good enough. 'Congrats to my opponent on a tremendous performance.

But yeah, we move on, regroup and my team will be back. And I'm going to keep going. 'Thank you all.' Speculation has been mounting online that Tszyu could square off against his long-standing rival Michael Zerafa next.

It came after Zerafa had called Tszyu out on social media on Sunday, and had also branded his potential future opponent 'average'. After the fight, Zerafa wrote: 'Looks like it’s time to settle our unfinished business @TimTszyu'. In an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald , Zerafa had also Tsyu stated that he 'will be back in big fights too' and was taking heed of advice that his dad had given him to 'never give up' Tszyu was knocked down four times over the three-round fight, with this now being the second loss of his career so far 'I've been saying this for years, Tim has a bad habit of overlooking his opponents,' Zerafa told The Sydney Morning Herald.

'He goes on about Crawford and [Jermell] Charlo and Canelo [Alvarez] and [Errol] Spence, saying this is a hand-picked opponent and that he will smash him. Murtazaliev has just had his first title defence and has made a mockery of Tim. 'He's sitting there saying he will knock out Crawford and Canelo.

I don't think he has any mirrors in his house. If he saw himself in the mirror, he would maybe wake up. 'He's definitely not at that level.

I've been saying it for years. I've said it a thousand times, but because of his last name and that winning streak, everyone is against me. All of a sudden my phone hasn't stopped and I've become the A-side.

'I believe there is unfinished business for me. He's human, you take away that last name and you just have an average guy standing in front of you.'
