The Georgia Bulldogs were nearly upset by the Kentucky Wildcats in Week 3. However, Georgia escaped Lexington with a 13-12 win. Since that close win, Georgia has moved from the No.
1 team in the country to the No. 2 spot. However, Tim Tebow had heard enough on "SEC Nation" on Saturday.
Tebow was confident that Georgia was still a championship-caliber team even after struggling on the road. Tebow mentioned how the conversation around the Alabama Crimson Tide changed after the USF game. It was a close game in the fourth quarter until Alabama pulled away and scored 21 consecutive points to seal the victory.
The former Florida Gators quarterback noted how most championship teams are upset by someone or have close games on their way to national titles. "Sometimes we just become captivated by the moment, and we can't step back and look at the big picture, and I think we have to," Tebow said. "If we looked at two weeks ago, the Alabama team that played USF, you would say, 'There's a lot of holes.
' It was a one-score game and they didn't play well. Then, all of a sudden, a week later, all the opinions changed because Kentucky played them really close. That happens in the SEC.

This meeting is the first time Alabama and Georgia have played in the regular season since 2020. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
