This week's Thursday Night Football game again features two AFC East teams: the New England Patriots and the New York Jets . New England enters the week off a loss to the Seattle Seahawks 23 to 20, following their week one victory over the Cincinnati Bengals 16 to 10. The Jets lost their week one game to the San Francisco 49ers , 32 to 19, before bouncing back last week against the Tennessee Titans , 24 to 17.

While I see the Jets as the better team with the much better quarterback at this point, this is an inter-divisional game, which usually leads to tighter games around the league, making a near touchdown line seem large.
The key to this game will be the Patriots rushing attack vs. the Jets' rushing attack and how the two defenses handle each. Despite a small sample size, the Patriots are faring much better at running the ball and stopping the run than the Jets through the season's first two games.
