Credit: Nine Police say a vehicle struck the child near the intersection with James Cook Drive about 8.30am on Thursday. Paramedics confirmed a child had been taken to Dandenong Hospital in a critical condition.



The driver, a 24-year-old year man from Endeavour Hills, stopped at the scene and was speaking to police. Fire crews were also in attendance. Police are investigating the circumstances.
