The police located a man who had been stabbed but despite the best efforts of officers, paramedics and members of the public, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Following further investigations, the police have now arrested three more people. An 18-year-old man from Netley and an 18-year-old man from Eastleigh have both been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 36-year-old woman from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
A spokesperson from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, said: “We would still like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Station Road Recreation Ground at the time of the incident.
