Tottenham could be in for a busy deadline day if Ange Postecoglou gets his way. Transfer deadline day is finally here and Tottenham will no doubt be involved in multiple deals. So far this summer, Spurs have brought in six new faces, with Dominic Solanke being the most eye-catching new name.

However, there are no suggestions that the capital club’s business is done. Postecoglou may still want to make one big signing before the window shuts with departures also expected. Below, HITC Football has highlighted three potential deals that could be struck on deadline day.

Giovani Lo Celso Things have simply not worked out for Giovani Lo Celso since his permanent transfer to Spurs. The Argentine has spent a good portion of recent seasons out on loan to Villarreal, however, he was given a new lease of life under Postecoglou last campaign. Yet, it now appears that his Tottenham career is over.

The 28-year-old was completely left out of the first team for the first two Premier League matches of the season. With game time set to be limited throughout the season, a potential move away on deadline day looks likely and it could be the best solution for all parties. Eberechi Eze In what would be a sensational deadline day signing, Spurs have been linked to Eberechi Eze throughout the summer.

The Crystal Palace midfielder has just come off the back of a fantastic 2023/24 campaign where he also featured for England at the 2024 Euros. While an official move so late in the window for Eze would no doubt be a shock, it is not out of the realm of possibility that Spurs make a statement signing to end their transfer window. Sergio Reguilon No doubt a forgotten man, Sergio Reguilon has not played for Spurs for the last two campaigns after being sent on three different loan spells.

After returning from his loan at Brentford this summer, no permanent solution has been found yet on the Spaniard’s future. With the 27-year-old now in the final year of his contract, Spurs will likely push for a permanent transfer away from the club on deadline day to avoid the risk of losing the left-back on a free next summer..
