Three Arrested on Outstanding Warrants in Colfax

Colfax, LA — April 7, 2025 On Monday April 7th 2025 at approximately 9:30 am., officers with the Colfax Police Department, with assistance from the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office, executed an arrest operation at an apartment located on Hud Loop within the city limits of Colfax. The operation was initiated in an effort to locate Erik Ismael Davila, age 30, who was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

These warrants included: • Resisting an officer (Bond: $2,500) • Two contempt of court warrants from the City of Alexandria • Two contempt of court warrants from Beauregard Parish • One misdemeanor probation warrant Upon arriving at the residence and making contact, officers observed Erik Davila inside the apartment. Officers also identified Jerquan J. Cunningham, age 23, in the living room.



Cunningham was known to have active warrants through the Colfax Police Department, which included: • Felony Sexual Battery • Misdemeanor Sexual Battery • Simple Battery (Bond: $75,000) Both Davila and Cunningham were taken into custody without incident. A third individual present in the residence, Kwivarius D. Williams, age 30, was also identified and found to have an active warrant through Rapides Parish with a bond set at $25,000.

He was subsequently taken into custody as well. All three individuals were transported to the Grant Parish Jail for booking. The Colfax Police Department would like to thank the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office for their cooperation and assistance in safely executing this operation.
