Avichal Srivastava from Bahraich, UP, made a Rs 50 device to alert users when their water tank is full, saving water and electricity Avichal Srivastava, a resident near Digiha Tiraha in the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, has achieved something remarkable that many people can only dream of. He has created a special device, costing merely Rs 50, which alerts users as soon as the water tank is full. This not only conserves water but also reduces electricity consumption.
Avichal, who lives in Mohalla Joshiapur in Bahraich , is an ITI student and also operates a small electric shop. He enjoys experimenting with new ideas in his spare time. He explained that people often forget to switch off the motor once the tank is full, leading to wastage of both water and electricity.
This recurring issue inspired him to create the device. How The Device Functions The device works by emitting a sound alert as soon as the water tank is full, prompting the user to turn off the motor immediately. This prevents the tank from overflowing without requiring an automatic system and also saves electricity.
Avichal mentioned that it took him 2 to 3 days to make the device, with a total cost of just Rs 50. He used a small transistor, an LED light, some wire, and a damaged mobile battery. He also noted that similar devices available in the market are often expensive and can malfunction.
By making it himself, he found an accurate and affordable solution. Avichal has a strong passion for inventing and aspires to help society through his innovations. He has previously created several small useful devices and intends to continue this work in the future.
