The model turned actress made her debut with Anil Kapoor in (1997). She rose to fame with her ad commercial for ‘Liril Soap’ and became became the viral girl form the soap ad. Reportedly, she had declined few offers in order to complete her education before officially beginning her career in the show biz.

The actress is Pooja Batra. Pooja Batra secured the runner-up title at the Femina Miss India contest in 1993. Later, she was crowned Femina Miss India International 1993 and also represented India at Miss International 1993.
