This actor said about he and Zeenat Aman started liking each other, but the actor's mother had said that this relationship would hinder his success. She had a huge fan following and one of her biggest lovers was 90s actor Deepak Parasher.
He was known for his excellent acting, great looks, and personality and gave tough competition to Amitabh Bachchan. Deepak even won the title of Mr. India in 1976, but he could not convince his mother about his relationship with Zeenat.
Zeenat Aman also won the Miss Asia Pacific pageant at the age of 19. She had a passion for cinema and dance since childhood and in 1971 she made her Bollywood debut with Dev Anand in ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’. On the other hand, Deepak made his Bollywood debut with Zeenat in ‘Insaaf Ka Tarazu’ and made many hit films.
His film Nikaah (1982) also brought him a lot of success and during this time he and Zeenat were reportedly dating each other. His love for her was immense, but her mother was against this relationship. Deepak had revealed this in an interview to Times Network.
He had said, “Zeenat Aman and I were friends and we used to share our joys and sorrows together. We grew closer day by day but my mother put a stop to it. She said, ‘If you marry her, you will not be successful,’ so I was in a dilemma.
” Zeenat’s top filmography includes ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’, ‘Don’, ‘Qurbani’, ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’, ‘Laawaris’, ‘Dostana’, ‘Roti Kapda Aur Makaan’, ‘Dharam Veer’ and ‘Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahin’ to name a few. Deepak fell in love with Zeenat but there came a time when he stopped himself. Talking about this, Deepak said, “It was because there was a lot going on in her life and she should have been left alone.
We had a few conversations about it and she told me that she was not sure about it because she was fighting a case and was feeling ruined after her bad breakup with Sanjay Khan.” For those who don’t know, Zeenat was an actress who could bring any man to his knees. However, she was not very lucky in love.
