His career in the film industry has spanned more than 45 years. The particular actor we are talking about is Annu Kapoor, a renowned actor, TV presenter, social worker and has been recognised for his brilliant theatre over the years. He was born on 20 February 1956 in Bhopal.



Annu Kapoor began his career in 1979 and was noticed in 1984’s Ek Ruka Hua Faisla, directed by Basu Chatterjee. He made his film debut in Mandi and from that he never stopped and has cast more than 100 films in his lifetime. The actor has worked with biggest names in the industry and once shared screen with Priyanka Chopra in 7 Khoon Maaf, stating that the actress refused to kiss him during the filming of an intimate scene.

He says that his appearance is not fit to be a hero and that might have caused discomfort for Priyanka Chopra. He said, “If I were the hero, Priyanka Chopra would not have had any problem kissing me. She does not have a problem kissing a hero.

But I do not have a good-looking face. I don’t have a personality. That’s why there’s a problem.

” In an interview with Hindustan Times, Priyanka Chopra was annoyed by Annu Kapoor’s remarks about the incident and said, “If he wants to do intimate scenes and pass such cheap comments, then he should do those kinds of films. Such scenes were never part of our film.” Apart from that Anu Kapoor has won numerous awards in his career, including two National Film Awards, one Filmfare Award and two Indian Television Academy Awards.
