In some films, he portrayed the role of a doctor, sometimes a policeman, and many times as a judge. Sehgal has featured in movies including Sholay, Zanjeer, Don, Khuda Kasam, Suraag, Gupt, Trimurti, Veergati, Guddu, Sanam Harjai, Beta Ho To Aisa, Krantiveer, Andaz, Geet, Tilak, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, and Honeymoon.
Many times, he used to work with Rishi Kapoor and sometimes with Amitabh Bachchan. Because of his strong personality and iconic dialogues, Kedarnath made an impact on the audience, despite having small roles. Kedarnath started his acting journey with Sikandar-e-Azam with Prithviraj Kapoor in 1941.
Not just in movies, Kedarnath also worked in TV. He appeared in shows like Byomkesh Bakshi. Though not much information about Sehgal’s family is available, as per IMDb, he has a daughter named Veena Sehgal.
He also has a brother, Madan, who is married to Madhu Malhotra. Madhu has also worked in many films and was also married to Bollywood villain Mahesh Anand but got divorced. Kedarnath Sehgal passed away on 29 September 2013 in Mumbai due to health related ailments.
