Capitalizing off a turnover, Adela Sapovalivova answered for Czechia who played a tight checking game through the first 40 minutes.

In the second, Poulin scored her second of the game adding to her tournament leading totals with eight points. Poulin's pair of goals moved her passed Jayna Hefford into second all-time in points by a Canadian at the World Championships with 85, and she also passed Hayley Wickenheiser for second most goals all-time by a Canadian with 38.She's only two goals shy of Hefford's all-time goal scoring mark at 40, and one point away from Wickenheiser's all-time points mark of 86.



In the third period, Canada exploded offensively with goals from Daryl Watts, Jennifer Gardiner, Sophie Jaques, and two from Kristin O'Neill. Canada finishes second overall in Group A with nine points. USA sits first with one game remaining against last place Switzerland.
