SOUTH GLEN FALLS—Theresa Pauline La Guardia, 94, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at The Home of the Good Shephard, South Glens Falls, NY. Born on February 7, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Stella (Mogilnicki) Wisniewski. Theresa was a devoted mother, homemaker and avid bridge player.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. After retiring, she and her husband, Joe, moved from Long Island to the Adirondacks to enjoy nature and sunsets from their home on Brant Lake, NY. Survivors include her two sons, John La Guardia, of Queensbury, and Mark (Terumi) La Guardia, of Gloucester, VA; granddaughters, Cherise (Patrick) Bogue, Kristin (Michael) Foss and Simone (Austin) Langwell; great grandchildren, Nolan Bogue and Lucy, Lily, Levon, Lila and Luka Foss.
