Daniel Inbal has been appointed as the new Generalmusikdirektor of Theater Pforzheim, beginning with the 2025-6 season.The council approved announced the news following the recommendation of the selection committee formed for the personnel selection process which included Mayor Peter Boch, representatives of the municipal council’s political groups, the theater management, an external consultant, the head of the Human Resources and General Office, the orchestra’s board, and other staff representatives.Inbal studied piano at the Hanover University of Music and later studied conducting at the Vienna University of Music.
He has been Chief conductor of the Prussian Chamber Orchestra and conductor at the Vienna Volksoper and has collaborated with the Braunschweig State Orchestra.
