Winners have been revealed for Bolton News’ February and March voucher competitions. Next month, it could be you! Once a month, Bolton News readers can collect tokens to compete for shopping vouchers . And two lucky people have scooped £250 toward their food shopping and a home makeover .
Hemlata Patel, 59, of Bolton, was at home when she found out she’d won £250 for food shopping. She said: “I was scrolling through my phone when I read the email [that I’d won]. I was really surprised that my letter had been picked out.
“I’d done all the [Bolton News] competitions and had never won them before. “I buy the paper every day just to have a read. I know you can get the Bolton News online, but it’s not like the paper version.
“It felt good, though. It was lovely to win. “If there are any more competitions, I will certainly try again.
” Hemlata Patel (Image: Public) When asked what she is going to do with the winnings, Hemlata said: “I’m going to treat myself. I haven’t really had a look at where I can use the vouchers. “But I might spend them on food shopping, cleaning products or maybe some of the clothing or beauty products at Sainsbury’s.
” Marilyn Whalley, 80, of Leigh, was also at home when she found out she won our March competition and would get a £250 voucher towardS a home makeover. Her husband said: “She was delighted. We both were.
She wants to spend the money on house furnishings.”.
