THE Vivienne's final public appearance was just days before their shock death as they wowed fans on stage. The sad news of "sweetest soul" James Lee Williams' death was confirmed on Sunday evening by publicist Simon Jones on social media . The RuPaul's Drag Race winner had starred in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in Blackpool just last weekend. A snap posted by an ITV boss who went to see the 32-year-old's performance as The Childcatcher showed them both smiling. Sharing the happy memory, the content executive wrote: "Absolutely heartbreaking news about The Vivienne.

" The tour started in April 2024 and has travelled the UK ever since. The Vivienne's rep Simon Jones announced their passing, writing: "It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved James Lee Williams – The Vivienne, has passed this weekend. Most read in News TV "James was an incredibly loved, warm-hearted, and amazing person.
"Their family are heartbroken at the loss of their son, brother, and uncle. "They are so proud of the wonderful things James achieved in their life and career. "We will not be releasing any further details.
"We please ask that James’s family are given the time and privacy they now need to process and grieve." The Vivienne's last appearance on television was during Christmas, starring in the festive episode of Blankety Blank . They joined Jonathan Ross , Oti Mabuse , Jane McDonald , Joel Dommett and Sara Pascoe on the festive special.
The star's tongue in cheek humour was in full swing on the show, as they gave some cheeky answers that had Bradley Walsh struggling to keep a straight face..
