By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Sept. 20: A short film ‘The School Wall’ has won the final round at a Russian film festival. Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, Aina Arts informed that the film secured first place out of 3,491 films from 121 countries at the Kino Festival in Russia, held under the theme Light of the World.

The festival took place in Rybinsk City, Russia, from September 12 to 16. Films from countries like the USA, Indonesia, India, and Brazil also competed in the final round. Representing Nepal, ‘The School Wall’ won first place, followed by India in second place, and the USA in third, mentioned in the press release.



The short film, based on child psychology, had previously been selected in various national and international film festivals. In the short film, Shlok Sah plays the lead role. Other notable actors include Subash Prasad Gajurel, Saroj Lamichhane, Chandra Prasad Pandey, Geeta Shree Thapa, Ayusha Gautam, and Bidur Prasad Sigdel.
